He also pointed out that these false reports were causing unnecessary worry for pilgrims eager to attend.


The DM's comments come as the festival sees record attendance. By February 14, over 50 crore devotees had taken a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers meet. This number is higher than the original estimate of 40 to 45 crore attendees. As a result, Maha Kumbh 2025 is becoming a historic event.


Over 92 Lakh Pilgrims Attend MahaKumbh by February 14
