UDGAAR 2025, promoted by the ISKCON India Youth Council and hosted by ISKCON Delhi-NCR, will take place on October 12, 2025, at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. The festival is themed "The Festival of Culture & Wellness" and has the slogan "सुसंस्कृत युवा – सुविकसित भारत, स्वस्थ युवा – सशक्त भारत," which translates as "Cultured Youth – Developed India, Healthy Youth – Empowered India." It aims to bring 15,000 young people from the entire nation of India. By means of music, drama, inspirational speeches, and activities, UDGAAR aims to motivate young people towards wellness, culture, and spirituality for a promising future.

A Celebration of Sanatan Values and Modern Inspiration
This year, UDGAAR festival blends the ancient Vedic tradition wisdom with the aspirations and hopes of the youth today. In the festival ground, the tourists can feel the atmosphere charged with chants, euphoria, and pride of culture, in testimony to India's immortal spirit. Encouraging an addiction-free lifestyle, inner wellness, and spiritual consciousness is the primary objective of the festival. It follows the philosophy of Sanatangyan, where knowledge (Gyan), action (Karma), and devotion (Bhakti) come together in harmony.
In the words of the Bhagavad Gita (6.5):
“उद्धरेदात्मनात्मानं नात्मानमवसादयेत्।”
“One must elevate oneself by one’s own mind, not degrade oneself.”
It is this timeless message that is at the heart of UDGAAR 2025. It encourages youth today to rise above distractions, addiction, and negativity. The festival dares them to be leaders of light, goodness, and positive change.

Reviving Sanatangyan for Modern Youth
Young people today face a variety of challenges including digital distractions, stress, and addiction. UDGAAR 2025 aims to jog the minds of people about the timeless wisdom of Sanatan Dharma. This time-tested philosophy revolves around the well-being of body, mind, and soul. The festival takes its cues from the Bhagavad Gita, the everlastingly relevant shashtra (scripture) of divine wisdom.
As Lord Krishna declares in the Gita:
“न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते।”
“There is nothing so purifying as knowledge.” (Bhagavad Gita 4.38)
This verse captures the mission of UDGAAR to the T. The festival is meant to disseminate spiritual wisdom and lead young minds towards clarity, compassion, and inner strength. UDGAAR is a living embodiment of Sanatangyan in practice, demonstrating how divine wisdom can be turned into practical application in daily life.

In the words of the Bhagavad Gita (2.47):
“कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।”
“You have a right to perform your duty, but not to the fruits of your actions.”
This age-old message, presented in Sanatangyan's teachings, directs the role of UDGAAR. The festival is meant to motivate young people to work with genuine intent and not for self-interest.
Sanatangyan, through this festival, continues to promote wisdom, harmony, and wellness. UDGAAR reminds us that character builds true strength and genuine success comes from providing service to others.
