In a deeply personal and spiritual journey, Anant Ambani, the youngest son of industrialist Mukesh Ambani, completed a remarkable 170-kilometer padyatra (spiritual walk) from Jamnagar to Dwarka in Gujarat.
Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Indian business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, recently completed an inspiring 170-kilometer spiritual "padyatra" from Jamnagar to Dwarka in Gujarat. This sacred walk began on March 29 and culminated on April 7, coinciding with his 30th birthday. The journey was an important and personal moment in Anant's spiritual life. He walked from his hometown of Jamnagar to the Shree Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka, showing his faith, determination, and dedication along the way.

Anant Ambani Reflects on His Transformative Padyatra
Anant Ambani called the padyatra a very personal and spiritual journey. His faith was profoundly received through an immersion into a physical task. He chanted rituals such as the Hanuman Chalisa, Sundarkand, and Devi Stotra. Every step he took was accompanied by a silent prayer. This ritualistic chanting and focus on spirituality were central to his experience as he walked towards the Dwarkadhish Temple, one of the most revered sites in Hinduism.
He explained after the darshan at Dwarka, “This is my own spiritual journey. "I began this journey by taking God's name and finished it the same way. I thank Bhagwan Dwarkadhish and everyone who supported me." This journey was a symbol of his search for peace and spiritual growth, showing his dedication to the values of Sanatan Dharma.

A Family Celebration: Anant’s Spiritual Milestone
On the last day of Anant’s padyatra, his wife Radhika Merchant and mother Nita Ambani For Reliance foundation were there to support. I remember hearing Nita the founder of Reliance Foundation express how spiritually gratifying she felt watching their son achieve something so personally meaningful. She stated, “As a mother, I feel proud to see my youngest son complete this padyatra to the divine place of Dwarkadhish. For the last 10 days, the youth walking with him have helped spread our culture. I only pray to Dwarkadhish to give Anant strength.”
Radhika Merchant, who recently married Anant, also shared her feelings about the spiritual journey. “Today is Anant's 30th birthday. It was his wish to undertake this padyatra after our wedding. We feel proud to be celebrating his birthday here. I thank everyone who blessed him and supported this journey.” Their presence underscored the importance of family and the emotional support that helped Anant complete his remarkable journey.

A Test of Resilience: Anant Completes the 170-Kilometer Walk
Anant's padyatra is even more inspiring because he completed the entire journey despite serious health challenges. He has fought Cushing’s Syndrome, obesity, asthma, and a severe lung condition in the past. The 170 kilometers of the entire journey was in itself a challanging expedition, extemely straining in nature, making it a true display of his physical and mental strength. It is these challenges that demands both faith and willpower. Reinforcing the spirit of Sanatan Dharma that teaches us the importance of strength when facing adversities.
During his journey Anant showed kindness to animals. He rescued chickens from a poultry truck along the way. He made sure they were taken care of. This act showed his deep empathy for all living beings.

Anant Completes His Padyatra with Blessings on Ram Navami
Anant Ambani attributed much of his strength to the support of his father, Mukesh Ambani, who motivated him to undertake the pilgrimage. Anant said, “When I told my father I wanted to do this walk, he gave me a lot of strength and motivation.” He highlighted how important his family’s support was in his spiritual journey.
On the occasion of Ram Navami, Anant offered prayers at the Dwarkadhish Temple, marking the end of his sacred journey. He expressed his gratitude, saying, "I send my best wishes to everyone. With God's blessings, my padyatra is complete." His words deeply touched the devotees who had gathered to see the end of his journey. His walk showed his strong devotion to Sanatan Dharma and the divine.

Anant’s 30th birthday had a special 170 km padyatra from Jamnagar to dwarka planned. In his mid life period, undergoing a series of health issues intensifying as time progresses, he empowered himself with family to pray along the journey which ended on Ram Navami, marking a milestone of perseverance, showcasing the relentless will.
